Problems during your stay

I'm having trouble with my Wifi...any ideas on how to fix this?
There is a router and a modem near the bay window in the living room. Please unplug both of them. After that, please turn on the modem (the black one), and after 5 minutes, please turn on the router (the white one).
If this does not solve the problem, there is a possibility that the cable is not plugged in properly.
If none of the above solutions work, please send us a picture of your modem and router lamps so we can check their status.

I don't know how to use the projector.
There are instructions on how to use the projector in the black booklet in the living room of the facility.
Please refer to it first.

The hot water is not working. What should I do?
The solution depends on the situation.

- If there is no hot water in the kitchen or shower
Is the water heater switch turned on?

- If the hot water started coming out but stopped halfway through
There is a possibility that the safety device has been activated due to prolonged use of the hot water heater.
Please follow the instructions here restore the safety device.

I can't get my BBQ to light.

If you are unable to ignite the BBQ using the correct procedure, we apologize for the inconvenience, but please check and perform the following steps in order from the top.

1.Check the main gas valve.
Is the main gas valve open? Even if it is open, the gas may be clogged, and opening and closing the valve several times may solve the problem.
Also, please check if the gas stove in the kitchen is turned on to make sure that the gas is not turned off in the house.

2. Check the knob
Turning the knob should push the ignition switch. If you do not hear it, the ignition switch may be defective.
If you can hear it, please try to operate the ignition switch while turning the knob slowly. (Allow a little gas to accumulate before operating the switch.)

3. Ignition with a Chuckerman
The ignition part may not be working properly for some reason.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but please try the following method. Since gas may be filled with gas, please use a piece of cardboard or similar material to cover the inside of the switch before starting the ignition. (The model is different from the one in the video, but it is the same to move the net and press the ignition switch while lighting the fire with a chuckerman.)

What should I do if the power goes out?
Please check the breaker in the cabinet around the double bed on the first floor, and turn on the breaker if it is turned off.

 

Reservation Changes

Is early check-in/late check-out available? If so, is there an additional charge?
Due to the reservation with other guests, we will make a decision around 5:00 p.m. on the day before or 12:00 p.m. on the day of the check-in/check-out and inform you of our decision.
The additional charge for both early check-in and late check-out is 5,000 yen per hour.

Can I change my itinerary?
Yes, you can change the date of your stay, but you will be charged the cancellation fee according to the cancellation policy if the period for which the cancellation policy is applicable has been reached.
Please check the details of the cancellation policy on the reservation website.

How long can I change the number of people in my party?
Changes in the number of persons can be made by the day before the stay.
Please note that if the number of guests decreases on the day of your stay, no reduction will be made.

Basically, an additional fee will be charged for any additional guests.In addition, if you are only using the facilities for a BBQ or other event and not staying overnight, you will still be charged the usual additional fee.

Is it possible to stay in a room with more than the maximum number of guests?
The maximum number of guests is 11.The bedding is as described in the "Bedrooms and Floor Plans" section, but if you still wish to stay, you can do so by paying the usual additional fee. Please contact us by e-mail or message.

Staying with Your Dog

Dog Run
We have a large woodchip dog run. The dog run is completely reserved for our guests, so you can enjoy it without worrying about your surroundings.

Are there any areas that are off-limits?
No, there are no specific areas off-limits to dogs. You are welcome to bring your dog anywhere on the grounds. We ask that you please be considerate of rough behavior, such as by using manners pants. Please contact us if there is any misbehavior.

What are the charges?
The first two dogs are included in the accommodation fee, and the third dog is charged at 4,000 yen per dog.

Is there a limit on the number of dogs or breeds?
There is no limit on the number of dogs. Please consult with us for very large dogs.

What is the height of the dog run?
The height of the dog run fence is 100cm.

What do you want us to bring?
Leashes, playthings, crates ( 60cm x 180cm pet fence is provided.)

<How to enter>
Please check in unattended by obtaining your PIN from the check-in form that will be sent to you 3 days prior to your stay. Please contact us if the check-in form fails to be sent as some terminals may not be able to send it properly.

<Parking lot>
Parking space for up to 3 cars. Please note the height limit (2m).
Please note that there is a possibility that you may not be able to park a Hiace, etc.

Please be sure to use Google Map to get to the property, as the address does not give the exact location.

Are there any taxis?
Yes, taxis are available. Due to a frequent shortage of taxis, we do recommend you booking 1 week to 3 days in advance. Please be aware that even if a taxi is not available by your checkout time, cleaning staff may need to enter the room.We will arrange for car dispatch on your behalf if you wish, because you need to make the reservation on calling in Japanese.

Where is the nearest station?
It takes about 2 minutes by car to the nearest station, "Jogasaki Kaigan Station".

Can I walk from the station to the inn?
It takes about 10 minutes on foot.

BBQ

Please tell us about your BBQ.
You can use our international gas grill.
You can enjoy BBQ from 9:00 to 21:00.Please be punctual.
There is no roof, so it is not available on rainy days.

What amenities are available?
The following amenities are available. Amenities are provided for one stay regardless of the number of nights. Face towels and bath towels are provided twice for stays of 3 nights or more. Please make use of the washing machine and dryer available.

Bathroom
Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and facial cleansing foam are available.

Changing Room
Bath towels, face towels, hair dryers, toothbrushes, combs, cotton, razors, and body towels are available.

Is toothpaste available?
Yes, we have toothpaste that comes in a set with a toothbrush.

Are there enough slippers for the number of guests?
Yes, we have slippers for the number of guests.

Do you have pajamas?
No, we do not.

Do you have a washing machine and dryer?
We have a drum-type washing machine (with drying function). We also have laundry detergent and fabric softener.

Are there any facilities or amenities for children?
We have spoons, forks,  eating utensils and one high chair for children.
If you need two high chairs, please contact us.

How many cups does the rice cooker cook?
We have a rice cooker with a capacity of 5 cups of rice.

Are hot plates available?
No, we do not have hot plates.

Do you have pots and cassette stoves?
Earthenware pots, cassette stoves, and gas cylinders are available.

Does the microwave oven have an oven function?
No, we do not have an oven function.

Do you have ice?
We do not have ice, but we do have a plastic ice machine, but it takes a long time to make ice and the amount of ice is small, so we do not need a lot of ice.
If you need a large amount of ice, please bring your own.

Can I drink the water?
Yes, you can.

<Projector / TV related>
I don't know how to operate the projector equipment.
Please refer to the black booklet in the facility for detailed instructions.

Can I connect my PC (smartphone) or Nintendo Switch to the projector for projection?
An HDMI cable is required to connect other devices. We do not provide HDMI cables at our facility, so if you need one, please bring your own HDMI cable approximately 3 meters long.
If you have a smartphone, please bring a conversion cable to connect it to the HDMI.

Do you have a TV?
There is a TV in the Japanese-style room on the 1st floor.
The projector does not allow terrestrial digital broadcasting, so you will need to use an Amazon FireTV Stick to watch the TV.

<Bath>
*Our hot water is natural hot spring water.

How big is the bath?
The bath is large enough for two to three people.

Can I take a bath right away?
We use natural hot spring water. Due to the long piping from the hot spring tank to the facility, it may take about 5 minutes before the hot spring water is ready to be used.

<Air Conditioning>
Do you have air conditioning in all rooms?
Yes, we do.
*Air conditioning in the changing rooms is not available. Please understand this in advance.

Fireworks

Are fireworks allowed?
Fireworks are strictly prohibited.
However, fireworks are permitted at Akazawa Beach, which is about a 15-minute drive away, as long as they are non-sounding.

Can I see fireworks from your facility?
Generally, fireworks cannot be seen from the facility.

Do you have buckets?
No, we do not have buckets, so please bring your own.

Shopping ・Meals / Services

<Shopping and Meals>
Is it possible to have meals delivered?
There are very few restaurants that can provide this service. We have confirmed that Gusto Izu Kawana is the only restaurant that can deliver meals.

Where is the nearest supermarket/convenience store?
The nearest supermarket/convenience store can be reached by car in the following time.
3 minutes: Tokyu Store (supermarket)
4 minutes: Family Mart
5 minutes: Super Nagaya (supermarket)
5 minutes: MaxValu (Supermarket)

<Service>
Is pick-up service available?
We do not provide pick-up service. Please use a car or public transportation.

How are towels and amenities provided for guests staying multiple nights?
Please refer to the "Amenities & Laundry" page.

Do you provide cleaning service during my stay?
No, we do not. However, we may be able to provide cleaning service for stays of 5 nights or more.

Can I drop off my luggage before check-in?
Yes, depending on the situation.

Can I leave my luggage after check-out?
It is possible depending on the situation.

Shopping
There is a Tokyu Store about a 16-minute walk away.
For details on other places to shop by car, please refer to the "Shopping, Meals, and Services" section.

Cab

Please be aware that even if a taxi is not available by your checkout time, cleaning staff may need to enter the room.We will arrange for car dispatch on your behalf if you wish, because you need to make the reservation on calling in Japanese.

About during your stay...
Please clean up after yourself during your stay.
Please wash dishes and put them in the drainer basket. Please return any household items that have been rearranged to their original locations. Please put all garbage in a bag or box and put it in one place inside the house.

Damage and defacement
If any damage or defacement is found to the building, furniture, or equipment, you may be charged for the damage or defacement. Please contact us if you find any damage or defacement.

Smoking
Smoking is not allowed inside the building, please smoke on the balcony or in the smoking area at the entrance. If you are found smoking inside the room, you may be charged for the cost of deodorizing and returning the room to its original state.

Insects
Insects may enter the rooms due to the natural surroundings of the facility. Vapes, mosquito coils(Only from March to October) and  insect repellents are available for your use. Please note that no refunds will be made in the event that insects are found.

Please be sure to use mosquito coils in the correct manner, as placing them directly on the floor may cause the floor to burn, or in the worst case, cause a fire.

Noise
Our inn is located in a quiet villa area, and loud noises can be heard outdoors. Some of our guests are causing a serious noise nuisance to the neighborhood. Please be especially careful of the following behaviors.
If the level of noise is too severe, we may ask you to leave the room forcibly. Use of speakers and conversation is not a problem as long as it is within the bounds of common sense.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation in order to make everyone's stay pleasant.

Separation of garbage
Please sort garbage into 4 categories: burnable garbage, PET bottles, cans, and bottles.

In case of injury during your stay
We are not responsible for any injuries sustained during your stay.

Fines
Fines may be incurred for any of the following acts. Basically, there is no problem as long as you use common sense.
Please understand that this is due to the fact that there are some guests with bad manners.

1. If the actual number of guests is different from the reserved number

Basically, an additional charge is required to add the number of guests.
Please contact us for more information. If the actual number of guests differs from the number reserved, you will be charged for the additional guests and may be charged 1.5 times the accommodation fee. Please be sure to notify us of any changes.
*We have security cameras installed outside.

2. If the room is extremely dirty

If you vomit, spill a drink, or smoke in the room, we may charge you a cleaning fee depending on the degree of soiling.

3. In case of damage or theft

The full amount of the relevant items may be charged.

If there is a significant delay in check-out, we may charge 5,000 yen/30 minutes.
