Problems during your stay

I can't get wifi to work, is there any way to fix this?
There is a router and a modem in the living room. Please unplug both of them. After that, please turn on the modem (the black one) and after 5 minutes, please turn on the router (the white one).
If this does not solve the problem, there is a possibility that the cable is not plugged in properly.
If none of the above solutions work, please send us a picture of your modem and router lights so we can check their status.

There is no hot water. What should I do?
Is the water heater in the hallway in front of the Japanese/Western style room turned on?
If the water was running at first but stopped halfway through, it is possible that the safety device has been activated due to prolonged use.
Please follow this guide  here to restore the safety device.

I don't know how to use the projector.
There are instructions on how to use the projector in the black booklet in the living room of the facility.
Please refer to it first.

What should I do if the BBQ grill does not catch fire?
Please check the following in order from the top.

1.Check the gas cassette.
Please check if the cassette gas is inserted all the way to the back.Check the knob.

2.When you turn the knob, the ignition switch should be pressed. If not, the ignition switch may be defective.
If you can hear it, please try to operate the ignition switch while turning the knob slowly. (Allow a little gas to accumulate before operating the switch.)

3. Ignition with a Chuckerman
The ignition part may not be working properly for some reason.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but please try this method. Please do not use a cardboard box or something similar to cover the inside of the switch before starting the ignition, as the switch may be filled with gas.

What should I do in the event of a power failure?
Please make sure that the breaker is not tripped.
If you find a breaker that is set to "OFF" in the breaker switch, turn it back to "ON.

Reservation Changes

Is early check-in/late check-out available? If so, is there an additional charge?
Due to the reservation with other guests, we will make a decision around 5:00 p.m. on the day before or 12:00 p.m. on the day of the check-in/check-out and inform you of our decision.
The additional charge for both early check-in and late check-out is 3500 yen per hour.

Can I change my itinerary?
Yes, you can change the date of your stay, but you will be charged the cancellation fee according to the cancellation policy if the period for which the cancellation policy is applicable has been reached.
Please check the details of the cancellation policy on the reservation website.

How late can I change the number of people in my party?
You can change the number of people in your party up to the day before.

Is it possible to stay in a room with more than the maximum number of guests?
The maximum number of guests is 5. The bedding is as described in the "Bedrooms and Floor Plans" section, but if you still wish to stay, you can do so by paying the usual additional fee. Please contact us by e-mail or message.

Entering/Parking/Access

<Entering the property>
Please check in unattended by obtaining your PIN from the check-in form that will be sent to you 3 days prior to your stay. Please contact us if the check-in form fails to be sent as some terminals may not be able to send it properly.

There are 3 parking spaces available on the premises.

Please be sure to use Google Map to get to the property, as the address does not give the exact location.

Where is the nearest train station?
It takes about 40 minutes on foot to the nearest station, Ajiro Station.

Can I walk to the inn from the station?
It is a 40-minute walk from the station, and about 6 minutes by car. So, it is not impossible to take a walk.

Are cabs available?
Yes, we do. When making arrangements with a cab company, please provide the address of the inn and the villa's parcel number
I-30.

<Cab dispatch service for return trips>
For those who have difficulty booking a cab in Japanese, we offer a cab dispatch service for the return trip. If you wish to use this service, please contact the taxi dispatcher by 4:00 p.m. one day prior to the day of dispatch and inform him/her of the time, number of passengers, and destination of the taxi. Please note that cabs are in short supply in Atami City, and if the above time is exceeded, there is a high possibility that the desired reservation will not be made, so please be sure to contact us by this time.

Bedrooms & Floor Plans

What is the layout of the rooms?
The layout is 2 bed room house with a terrace (living/dining room, kitchen, bedroom (Western-style room and Japanese-style room), bath, and one toilet.

Please tell us about the bedding in each room.
Western-style room → 2 single beds
Japanese-style room → 1 king-size bed and 1 set of futon.

BBQ

Please tell me about BBQ.
You can use IWATANI's gas grill.
You can enjoy BBQ from 9:00 to 21:00.

<Items you need to prepare>
Cassette gas cylinder, (*) ingredients, sauce, skewers (if necessary), gloves, etc.
Gas cylinders are not made by IWATANI and can be used at home.

*To prevent fires, please refrain from bringing in or using charcoal grills. However, tarps may be brought in.
*Because of the lack of a roof, the area cannot be used in the event of rain. Please be punctual.

Do I need to make a reservation or pay in advance for BBQ use?
No advance reservations are required. Please pay by credit card using the QR code provided at the facility.

How many cups of rice does the rice cooker cook?
We have a 3-cup rice cooker.

Do you have a hot plate?
No, we do not have a hot plate.

Do you have any pots, pans, or cassette stoves?
No. 9 earthenware pot, cassette stove, and gas cylinder are available.

Does the microwave oven have an oven function?
No, we do not have an oven function.

Do you have ice?
We do not have ice, but we do have a plastic ice machine, but it takes a long time to make ice and the amount of ice is small, so we do not need a lot of ice.
If you need a large amount of ice, please bring your own.

Can I drink the water?
Yes, you can.

I don't know how to operate the projector equipment.

Can I connect a PC (smartphone) or Nintendo Switch to the projector for projection?
An HDMI cable is required to connect other devices. We do not provide HDMI cables, so if you need one, please bring your own HDMI cable approximately 3 meters long.

Do you have a TV?
No, we do not. We use Amazon FireTV Stick.
We use Amazon FireTV Stick, but terrestrial digital broadcasting is not available.

<Baths>
How big is the bath?
The bathtub can accommodate two people.

<Air Conditioning>
Are all rooms air-conditioned?
Yes, we do.

Amenities & Laundry

What amenities are provided?
You may use the following amenities provided for your stay, regardless of the duration: a set of face towels and bath towels is provided once, but for stays of three nights or more, two sets are provided. Please make use of the washing machine and dryer available to you.

Is toothpaste available?
Yes, we have a set of toothpaste and toothbrushes.

Are there enough slippers for the number of guests?
Yes, we have slippers for each guest.

Do you have pajamas?
No, we do not.

Do you have a washing machine and dryer?
We have a washing machine and an electric dryer. We also have laundry detergent and fabric softener.

Are there any facilities or amenities for children?
We have spoons, forks, and eating utensils for children.
We can also provide high chairs depending on the dates of your stay.

Are fireworks allowed?
Fireworks are strictly prohibited. However, fireworks are permitted at Nagahama Seaside Park, an 11-minute drive away, as long as they are non-sounding.

Can I see fireworks from your facility?
No, you cannot see the fireworks from our facility.

Do you have buckets?
No, we do not have buckets, so please bring your own.

Shopping ・Meals / Services

<Shopping and Meals>
Is it possible to have meals delivered?
There are very few stores that can deliver meals. We have confirmed that Pizza is the only restaurant that can deliver.

Do you have any restaurant recommendations?

Where is the nearest supermarket/convenience store?
The nearest supermarket is Maxvalu Express Atami Taga, about 12 minutes by car.
The convenience store is about 8 minutes away.

<Service>
Do you provide pick-up or drop-off service?
We do not offer pick-up or drop-off services. Please use a car or public transportation.

What about towels and amenities for guests staying for two or more nights?
Details are provided in the "Amenities & Laundry" section.

Do you provide cleaning service during my stay?
No, we do not. However, we may be able to provide cleaning service for stays of 5 nights or more.

Can I drop off my luggage before check-in?
Depending on the situation, it may be possible. Please contact us via message.

Can I leave my luggage after check-out?
Depending on the situation, it may be possible. Please contact us via message.

<Access and the surrounding environment>
Shopping
There are no supermarkets within walking distance. There is a Maxvalu Express Atami Taga store about 12 minutes away by car.

Cab
Cabs are scarce in Atami City, so it is recommended to make a reservation the day before. Please note that we will start cleaning even if the cab is not dispatched in time for your check-out time.

<During your stay>

Please clean up after yourself during your stay.
Please wash dishes and put them in the drainer basket. Please return any household items that have been rearranged to their original locations. Please put all garbage in a bag or box and put it in one place inside the house.

Damage and defacement
If any damage or defacement is found to the building, furniture, or equipment, you may be charged for the damage or defacement. Please contact us if you find any damage or defacement.

Smoking
Smoking is not allowed inside the building, please smoke on the balcony or in the smoking area at the entrance. If you are found smoking inside the room, you may be charged for the cost of deodorizing and returning the room to its original state.

Insects
Insects may enter the rooms due to the natural surroundings of the facility. Vapes, mosquito coils, insect repellents, and insecticidal sprays are available for your use. Please note that no refunds will be made in the event that insects are found. Please be sure to use mosquito coils in the correct manner, as placing them directly on the floor may cause the floor to burn, or in the worst case, cause a fire.

Noise
Our inn is located in a quiet villa area, and loud noises can be heard outdoors. Some of our guests are causing a serious noise nuisance to the neighborhood. Please be especially careful of the following behaviors.
If the level of noise is too severe, we may ask you to leave the room forcibly. Use of speakers and conversation is not a problem as long as it is within the bounds of common sense.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation in order to make everyone's stay pleasant.

Separation of garbage
Please sort garbage into 4 categories: burnable garbage, PET bottles, cans, and bottles.

In case of injury during your stay
We are not responsible for any injuries sustained during your stay.

Fines
Fines may be incurred for any of the following acts. Basically, there is no problem as long as you use common sense.
Please understand that this is due to the fact that there are some guests with bad manners.

1. If the actual number of guests is different from the reserved number

Basically, an additional charge is required to add the number of guests.
Please contact us for more information. If the actual number of guests differs from the number reserved, you will be charged for the additional guests and may be charged 1.5 times the accommodation fee. Please be sure to inform us of any changes.
*We have security cameras installed outside.

2. If the room is extremely dirty

If you vomit, spill a drink, or smoke in the room, we may charge you a cleaning fee depending on the degree of soiling.

3. In case of damage or theft

The full amount of the relevant items may be charged.

4. If there is a significant delay in check-out

5,000 yen/30 minutes may be charged.
