Trouble during your stay

I can't use the wifi, what can I do?
There is a router near the breaker at the entrance, please check the color of the light.
Please send us a picture by message.

I have no hot water. What should I do?
The solution depends on the situation.

- If the water in the bathtub (hot spring) is not warm
There is a possibility that the amount of hot water is not enough. Please turn on the faucet and wait for about 5 minutes.

- If there is no hot water in the kitchen or shower
Is the water heater switch turned on?

- If hot water came out at first but stopped halfway through
If the water heater was turned on for a long period of time, the safety device may have been activated.
Please follow the instructions here to restore the safety device.

What should I do if the power goes out?
It may be caused by an overload of electricity in the facility. Please try the following measures first.

  1. First, check the breaker.
  2. Locate the breaker, open the door, and check the electrical distribution board.
  3. If you find a breaker that is "OFF," turn it back "ON.

Reservation Changes

Is early check-in/late check-out available? If so, is there an additional charge?
Due to the reservation with other guests, we will make a decision around 5:00 p.m. on the day before or 12:00 p.m. on the day of the check-in/check-out and inform you of our decision.
The additional charge for both early check-in and late check-out is 5,000 yen per hour.

Can I change my itinerary?
Yes, you can change the date of your stay, but if the cancellation policy is not met, you will be charged the cancellation fee as stated in the cancellation policy.
Please check the details of the cancellation policy on the reservation website.

How late can I change the number of people in my party?
Changes in the number of persons can be made by the day before the stay.
Please note that if the number of guests decreases on the day of your stay, no reduction will be made.
Basically, an additional fee will be charged for any additional guests.

Is it possible to stay in a room with more than the maximum number of guests?
The maximum number of guests is 6. The bedding is as described in the Bedrooms and Floor Plans section, but if you still wish to stay in a room, you can do so for an additional charge as usual. Please contact us by e-mail or message.

Lodging with your dog

<Dog Run>
We have a natural grass dog run with an area of approximately 25 tsubo (approx. 3.5 square meters) covered with lawn. The dog run is completely private, so you and your guests can enjoy it without worrying about your surroundings.

Are there any areas that are off-limits?
No, there are no specific areas that are off-limits. You are welcome to bring your dog anywhere on the grounds. We ask that you please be considerate of rough behavior and use manner pants. Please contact us if there is any misbehavior.

Number of dogs and breed restrictions
Up to 2 dogs are allowed. Please note that we cannot accommodate very large dogs.

Please let us know about the dog run.
The height of the dog run fence is about 90cm at its lowest point.

<How to enter>
Please check in unattended by obtaining your PIN from the check-in form that will be sent to you 3 days prior to your stay. Please contact us if the check-in form fails to be sent as some terminals may not be able to send it properly.

There is a parking space for one car on the premises.

Please be sure to use Google Map to get to the property, as the address does not give the exact location.

Are there any taxis?
Yes, taxis are available. However, cabs are always in short supply in Atami City, so we recommend that you make a reservation at least one day in advance.
If a cab cannot be dispatched by check-out time, our cleaning staff may still be able to enter the room.

Where is the nearest train station?
It takes about 20 minutes on foot to the nearest station, Raingu Station.

Can I walk to the inn from the station?
It is too far to go on foot, so we recommend taking a bus or cab.

<Access by bus>
There is a bus stop called "Umezono" near the intersection of Atami Plum Garden Entrance, about a 10-minute walk from the inn. Buses stop approximately every hour to take you to the bus stop at Atami Station.

Is there a cab service?
Yes, taxis are available. However, cabs are always in short supply in Atami City, so we recommend that you make a reservation at least one day in advance. When making arrangements with a cab company, please inform them of the address of our inn and they will be able to dispatch a cab.

Please tell me about your cab dispatch service.
We provide a cab dispatch service for those who have difficulty booking a cab in Japanese. If you would like to use this service, please contact us by 4:00 p.m. the day before the day you would like the taxi dispatched, and inform us of the time, the number of passengers, and the destination. Please note that cabs are in short supply in Atami City, and if the above time is exceeded, there is a high possibility that the desired reservation will not be made, so please be sure to contact us by this time.

Bedrooms & Floor Plans

What is the layout of the rooms?
The layout of our inn is a two-story, one bedroom.
It has one bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and balcony.

What type of beds are in the bedroom?
The bedroom is furnished with a characteristic bunk bed, with two single beds on the lower bunk and one single bed on the upper bunk. In addition, there is a double bed in a slightly loft-like structure. The loft section is equipped with handrails and safety fences to prevent falling, so that our guests can rest in peace.

Please tell us about the bedding in the bedrooms.

What are the precautions for bunk beds with lofts?
Before going to bed, please be careful when going up and down the loft. In particular, if you have small children or disabled persons, please refrain from using the loft beds or have a parent or guardian support them by your side. When traveling at night, please use proper lighting and check your footing carefully. We hope you will observe these precautions for a safe and comfortable stay.

BBQ

What is your BBQ policy?
Charcoal grills are available. Please bring your own charcoal.
You can enjoy BBQ from 9:00 to 21:00.Please be punctual.
There is no roof, so it is not available on rainy days.

Yes. 9 earthenware pot, cassette stove, and gas cylinder are available.

Does the microwave oven have an oven function?
No, we do not have an oven function.

Do you have ice?
We do not have ice, but we do have a plastic ice machine, but it takes a long time to make ice and the amount of ice is small, so we do not need a lot of ice.
If you need a large amount of ice, please bring your own.

Can I drink the water?
Yes, you can.

sauna

The fee is 5,500 yen/day. Please wear a bathing suit.
If you are staying for consecutive nights, please pay again after 12:00 noon.

How to use the Barrel Sauna
To use the Barrel Sauna, please follow the steps below.

  1. Scan the QR code at the entrance to the Barrel Sauna and pay the fee of 5,500 yen.
  2. After completing the payment, you will be issued a PIN code, which you will use to open the padlock.
  3. Activate the panel and press the heater button.
  4. Set the room temperature by plus or minus from the menu button.
  5. Set the operation time with the menu button and plus/minus buttons.
  6. After completing the above settings, confirm that the indoor temperature of the sauna has reached the set temperature and enter the sauna.

What precautions should I take to use the Barrel Sauna safely?
Please note the following points for your safe enjoyment.

Please be sure to wear a bathing suit when using the sauna.

Please refrain from using the sauna after drinking alcohol as it is very dangerous.

Is there a TV?
Yes, there is. The 42-inch TV in the living room offers terrestrial broadcasting, Netflix, Prime Video, Youtube, etc. If you wish to watch paid content, please note that it is not available on our account. If you wish to watch paid content, please prepare a paid account as it is not available with our account. If you wish to project your own content, please bring a 3m HDMI cable for connection. Please replace the fireTV stick with a fireTV stick with an HDMI port. Please return the cable to its original position after use.

<Baths>
The hot water at our facility is natural hot spring water. Due to the long piping from the hot spring tank to the facility, it may take 5 to 10 minutes before the warm water comes out.

What amenities are available?
You may use the following amenities provided for your stay, regardless of the duration: a set of face towels and bath towels is provided once, but for stays of three nights or more, two sets are provided. Please make use of the washing machine and dryer available to you.

Is toothpaste available?
Yes, we have toothpaste that comes in a set with a toothbrush.

Are there enough slippers for the number of guests?
Yes, we have slippers for the number of guests.

Do you have pajamas?
No, we do not.

Do you have a washing machine and dryer?
We have a drum-type washing machine and dryer. We also have laundry detergent and fabric softener.

Are there any facilities or amenities for children?
We have spoons, forks, and tableware for children.
High chairs are available depending on the dates of your stay, so please inquire.

Fireworks

Are fireworks allowed?
Fireworks are strictly prohibited.
However, fireworks are permitted at Atami Sun Beach, which is a 10-minute drive away.

Can I see fireworks from your facility?
Generally, fireworks cannot be seen from the facility.

Do you have buckets?
No, we do not have buckets, so please bring your own.

Shopping ・Meals / Services

<Shopping and Meals>
Is it possible to have meals delivered?
There are very few stores that can deliver meals. We have confirmed that Pizza is the only restaurant that can deliver.

Where is the nearest supermarket/convenience store?
There is a MaxValu Atami store about 8 minutes away by car. There is also a Seven-Eleven about 5 minutes away by car.

<Services>
Do you provide transportation service?  And do you provide pick-up service?
We do not provide pick-up service. Please use a car or public transportation.

What about towels and amenities for guests staying for two or more nights?
Details are provided in the "Amenities & Laundry" section.

Do you provide cleaning service during my stay?
No, we do not. However, we may be able to provide cleaning service for stays of 5 nights or more.

Can I drop off my luggage before check-in?
Depending on the situation, it may be possible. Please contact us via message.

Can I leave my luggage after check-out?
Depending on the situation, it may be possible. Please contact us via message.

The following is a list of important points to keep in mind.

<Access and the surrounding environment>
Shopping
There are no supermarkets within walking distance. There is a Maxvalu Atami store about 15 minutes away by car.

Cab
Cabs are scarce in Atami City, so it is recommended to make a reservation the day before. Please note that we will start cleaning even if the cab is not dispatched in time for your check-out time.

<During your stay>
Please clean up after yourself during your stay.
Please wash dishes and put them in the drainer basket. Please return any household items that have been rearranged to their original locations. Please put all garbage in a bag or box and put it in one place inside the house.

Damage and defacement
If any damage or defacement is found to the building, furniture, or equipment, you may be charged for the damage or defacement. Please contact us if you find any damage or defacement.

Smoking
Smoking is not allowed inside the building, please smoke on the balcony or in the smoking area at the entrance. If you are found smoking inside the room, you may be charged for the cost of deodorizing and returning the room to its original state.

Hot spring
Please note that in case of heavy rain or other bad weather conditions, as well as ongoing construction work in the area, it may be temporarily impossible to use the host spring.
If the hot spring is not available, 15% of the room charge for the applicable night will be refunded.
(If you cannot use the hot spring only one night out of three nights, 15% of the accommodation fee for one night will be refunded)
Additionally, we will provide a gas water heater so that you can continue to take baths during your stay.
The outside bath is a hot spring and cannot be used when the hot spring is shut down.
We appreciate your understanding in advance.

Insects
Insects may enter the rooms due to the natural surroundings of the facility. Vapes, mosquito coils, insect repellents, and insecticidal sprays are available for your use. Please note that no refunds will be made in the event that insects are found.

Please be sure to use mosquito coils in the correct manner, as placing them directly on the floor may cause the floor to burn, or in the worst case, cause a fire.

Noise
Our inn is located in a quiet villa area, and loud noises can be heard outdoors. Some of our guests are causing a serious noise nuisance to the neighborhood. Please be especially careful of the following behaviors.
If the level of noise is too severe, we may ask you to leave the room forcibly. Use of speakers and conversation is not a problem as long as it is within the bounds of common sense.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation in order to make everyone's stay pleasant.

Separation of garbage
Please sort garbage into 4 categories: burnable garbage, PET bottles, cans, and bottles.

In case of injury during your stay
We are not responsible for any injuries sustained during your stay.

<Fines>
Fines may be incurred for any of the following acts. Basically, there is no problem as long as you use common sense.
Please understand that this is due to the fact that there are some guests with bad manners.

1. If the actual number of guests is different from the reserved number

Basically, an additional charge is required to add the number of guests.
Please contact us for more information. If the actual number of guests differs from the number reserved, you will be charged for the additional guests and may be charged 1.5 times the accommodation fee. Please be sure to notify us of any changes.
*We have security cameras installed outside.

2. If the room is extremely dirty

If you vomit, spill a drink, or smoke in the room, we may charge you a cleaning fee depending on the degree of soiling.

3. In case of damage or theft

The full amount of the relevant items may be charged.

If there is a significant delay in check-out, we may charge 5,000 yen/30 minutes.
