Problems during your stay (hot water, power outage)

The method of response will vary depending on the situation.

Reservation Changes

Is early check-in/late check-out available? If so, is there an additional charge?
Due to the reservation with other customers, we will make a decision at 5:00 p.m. on the day before or at 12:00 p.m. on the day of the reservation and notify the customer of our decision.
Early check-in and late check-out are both available at an additional hourly rate5,000 yen.

Can I change the dates?
Rescheduling is possible, but if the cancellation policy is not met, cancellation fees will be charged as stated in the cancellation policy. Please refer to the cancellation policy on the reservation website for details.

How long can I change the number of people in my group?
Changes in the number of persons can be made up to the day before the stay, both in terms of increase and decrease. Please note that if the number of guests decreases on the day of your stay, no reduction will be made.
*Different rates are set for different days, and in some cases, a reduction cannot be made even if the number of people decreases. Please contact us for details.
Basically, an additional fee will be charged for additional people. Even in the case of temporary use of the facilities without overnight stay, such as BBQ only, an additional fee will be charged as usual.

What is the maximum number of people?
The maximum number of guests is 8. Bedding is as listed in the Bedrooms and Floor Plans section, but if you would still like to stay in the room, you can do so for the usual additional fee. Please contact us by e-mail or message.

How to enter, parking, access

Available check-in times are16:00~22:00.22:00We will not be able to handle any problems related to check-in after 22:00.

How to enter
You are required to check in unattended by obtaining your PIN from the check-in form that will be sent to you 3 days prior to your stay. Please contact us if the check-in form fails to send as some terminals may not be able to send it properly.

Method 1: From Odawara Station

  1. Take the Izu Hakone Bus bound for Kojiri at the east exit of Odawara Station.
  2. After about 40 minutes via "Hakone-Yumoto Station", get off at "Midori-no-Mura Iriguchi".
  3. It takes about 5 minutes on foot from "Midori-no-Mura Entrance" to the facility.

Method 2: From Hakone-Yumoto Station

  1. At Hakone-Yumoto Station, take the Izu Hakone Bus bound for Kojiri.
  2. It takes about 20 minutes to arrive at the "Midori-no-Mura Entrance".
  3. It takes about 5 minutes on foot from "Midori-no-Mura Entrance" to the facility.

Method 3: From Kowakudani Station

  1. Take the Hakone Tozan Railway to Owakudani Station.
  2. At Kowakudani Station, transfer to a bus bound for "Midori-no-Mura Iriguchi".
  3. It takes about 4 minutes to arrive at the "Midori-no-Mura Entrance" and it takes about 5 minutes on foot from the "Midori-no-Mura Entrance" to the facility.

Cab Information
Due to the shortage of cabs in Hakone Town, we recommend that you make a reservation at least one day in advance when you need a cab. Please note in advance that if a cab cannot be dispatched by check-out time, our cleaning staff will still be able to enter your room.The following is a list of the most common problems with the "C" in the "C" column.

What is the nearest train station?
It is about a 20-minute walk to the nearest "Kowakudani" station.

The layout of the inn is a two-story, three-bedroom house.

Is there a dog run on the property?
Yes, there is a dog run located in the yard in view of the rooms. It is designed to allow dogs to play safely and happily. The height of the fence is 120cm.

Are there any restrictions on the breed or number of pets?
There are no restrictions.
Up to two dogs are free, but thereafter[4,000 yen/night/per dog]will be charged.

Are kennels provided for dogs?
We do not provide traditional dog kennels, but we do have a dedicated dog room with a door. These rooms are designed for the safety and comfort of our guests' pets.

Dog rooms are private spaces where pets can relax. Locking and separating doors provide security and comfort for your pet.

What kind of pet hygiene products are available?
We offer dog poop bags and diapers in a variety of sizes to accommodate different breeds of dogs.

Is this service available to people who do not have dogs?
Yes, our facility welcomes guests without dogs. Our facility offers a variety of services to ensure the comfort of all our guests. The facility is always kept clean, and guests without dogs are welcome to enjoy our facilities and services to the fullest.

BBQ

You can enjoy BBQ on the gas grill made overseas. Please be punctual from 9:00 to 21:00. No advance reservation is required.
*Because there is no roof, BBQ is not available in the event of rain. However, if you bring your own tarp, you can use it.
*To prevent fires, please do not bring or use charcoal grills.

Cleanup
No cleaning of the BBQ grill is required. Please wash dishes after use and separate trash and dispose of it separately in the kitchen trash can.
Please do not leave food outside to prevent birds and animals from destroying it.

I can't get the BBQ to light.

If you are unable to ignite the product using the correct procedure, we apologize for the inconvenience, but please check and perform the following steps in order from the top to the bottom.

1. Check the main valve
Is the main gas valve open? Even if it is open, the gas may be clogged and opening and closing it several times may solve the problem. Also, just to be sure that the gas is not turned off in the house, check to see if the gas stove in the kitchen is turned on.

2. Confirmation of knobs
Turning the knob should press the ignition switch, do you hear a click? If you hear it, try turning the knob slowly to activate the ignition switch. (Allow a little gas to build up before operating the switch.)
If you do not hear it, try 3. as the ignition switch may be defective.

3. Ignition with Chuckerman
The ignition part may not be working properly for some reason.

Can I connect my PC (smartphone) or Nintendo Switch to the projector for projection?
You will need an HDMI cable for connection to other devices. The facility does not provide cables, so please bring your own HDMI cable approximately 3 meters long. If you wish to connect your smartphone, please also bring a conversion cable to connect it to the HDMI.

Do you have a TV?
None. Amazon FireTV Stick is available for projectors.

This is a hot spring bath. Because the temperature is hot (over 50 degrees Celsius), please allow the water to cool moderately before bathing or add water to adjust the temperature.

Size of bath
Both the indoor and outdoor baths can accommodate 2 to 3 persons.

In winter, it is recommended that the water heater temperature be set at about 48 degrees Celsius.

Smoking is completely prohibited indoors; please smoke on the balcony or in the smoking area at the entrance. If smoking is found inside the room, you may be charged for the cost of deodorizing and returning the room to its original state.

Because the facility is surrounded by nature, insects may come indoors. Vapes, mosquito coils (only from March to October), and insecticidal sprays are available for your use. Please note that no refunds will be made in the event that insects are found. Noise
Our inn is located in a quiet villa area, and loud noises can be heard outdoors. Some guests are causing a serious noise nuisance to the neighborhood.
If the level of disturbance is too severe, you may be asked to leave the room forcibly. There is no problem with the use of speakers or conversation as long as it is within the bounds of common sense.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in order to make everyone's stay pleasant.

The inn is not responsible for any injuries sustained during your stay.

About fines
Any of the following actions may result in a fine. Please use common sense.
Please understand that we have made this statement due to the bad manners of some of our guests.

1. In the event that the actual number of guests differs from the reserved number of guests

Basically, an additional fee is required for additional people.
If the actual number of guests differs from the number reserved, you will be charged for the additional guests and may be charged 1.5 times the accommodation fee. Please be sure to notify us of any changes.

2. If the room is extremely dirty

Please be sure to contact us in the event that your dog has been found in a rough environment. We will charge an additional fee if we discover any roughhousing without notifying us. If we find vomit, spills, or smoking in the room, we may charge a cleaning fee depending on the degree of soiling.

3. In case of damage or theft

You may be charged the full amount of the applicable item(s).

4. In case of substantial delay in check-out

5,000 yen/30 minutes may be charged.
